Thank you for choosing IS6FX.
Following the announcement of unauthorized access by a third party to Onamae.com Desktop Cloud, we would like to provide important information regarding account security to customers who use MT4/MT5 through this service.
We are also reviewing the situation and conducting a detailed investigation into the possibility of unauthorized access and any potential impact on our customers’ accounts. At this stage, we have not determined whether there is any connection between these concerns and the incident involving Onamae.com Desktop Cloud.
As a company entrusted with our customers’ valuable assets, we take this matter very seriously. We sincerely apologize for the concern and inconvenience this situation has caused.
Although certain details regarding the cause and scope of the potential impact remain unconfirmed, protecting our customers’ accounts is our highest priority. We therefore ask all customers to take the following measures.
Change Your Client Portal Password and All Trading Account Passwords
Regardless of whether you use Onamae.com Desktop Cloud, please change both of the following passwords as soon as possible:
- Your IS6FX Client Portal login password
- The trading passwords for all your MT4/MT5 trading accounts
Please note that your Client Portal password and trading account passwords must be changed separately. Changing your Client Portal password does not change your trading account passwords.
If you have multiple trading accounts, please change the password for each account individually. Avoid reusing passwords across different accounts or services, and set a unique, sufficiently long password for each.
Temporary Restrictions on New Orders and How to Resume Trading
To protect customer accounts, we have temporarily restricted the placement of new orders. You can still close existing positions.
Once you change the trading password for an account, you will be able to resume placing new orders on that account. Please note that changing only your Client Portal password will not remove the restriction on new orders.
After changing your password, please log in to MT4/MT5 again using your new password. If you use Expert Advisors (EAs) for automated trading, please also check your connection status and confirm that your EAs are operating properly after logging in again.
How to Change Your MT4/MT5 Trading Account Password
- Log in to your Client Portal and open the “Assets” menu.
- Select the password change option for the relevant trading account.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set a new trading password.
Important:
- Please make sure to change your password through the Client Portal.
- If you have multiple trading accounts, please complete this process for every account.
For Customers Using Onamae.com Desktop Cloud
Please review the official announcements and any individual notifications from Onamae.com and take the necessary actions.
If you suspect that your VPS may have been affected by unauthorized access, do not enter or save your new passwords in that environment. Changing your password alone does not guarantee that the VPS itself is secure.
Please contact Onamae.com support to confirm whether your VPS needs to be rebuilt and what steps are required to safely resume using the service. Until the security of the environment has been confirmed, please refrain from using MT4/MT5 on the affected VPS.
If you use other VPS or cloud services, please also follow any security-related instructions provided by your service providers.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
To strengthen the security of your Client Portal, we strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA). If you have not yet enabled this feature, please take this opportunity to do so.
Please note that enabling 2FA does not eliminate the need to change your Client Portal password and the passwords for all your trading accounts.
Never share your passwords or authentication codes with third parties, and do not include them in email replies.
If You Notice Any Unauthorized Activity or Transactions
If you notice any unfamiliar logins, trades, or other suspicious activity, please contact IS6FX Customer Support.
Providing the relevant trading account number, the date and time you noticed the activity, and details of the transactions or screens involved will help us investigate the matter.
You do not need to provide your password or authentication codes.
Further Updates
Our response to this matter will not end with simply asking customers to change their passwords. We will continue investigating the cause and scope of the potential impact and implement any necessary measures based on our findings.
We will promptly inform customers of any newly confirmed information or additional actions that may be required.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for the concern and inconvenience this situation has caused.
We remain fully committed to addressing this matter responsibly and maintaining a secure trading environment where all customers can trade with confidence.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
