Why is the payment amount and billing amount different when I check it immediately after depositing?
When you make a deposit with a credit card, it will be processed as if you were making a purchase overseas. Even if you deposit in Japanese Yen, the billed amount will not be confirmed until the next billing cycle deadline. Therefore, the online credit card usage report provided by the credit card company may display a different amount as an undetermined charge before the deadline. Once the payment is confirmed in the credit card billing cycle, the deposited amount and the billed amount should match. If they still differ at this point, please contact your credit card company to inquire why the billed amount differs from the actual usage amount.
